Bangalore Metro was supposed to have been inaugurated today, which is an auspicious day in Karnataka - Ugadi. I live very close to the upcoming Metro line, it didn't look ready for inauguration by any stretch of imagination.

Long weekends are always good & bad news for me. Bangalore roads are wonderful to drive during long weekends. It is safe to assume a huge percentage of population goes out of Bangalore during holidays - mainly to Tamil Nadu, Andhra (united Andhra!), Kerala.

We recently received our first traffic violation notice from Bangalore Traffic Police Department. The notice was printed neatly in a professional manner, which is rare for any govt notice.
