Today India celebrates it's 61st Independence day and it happens to be a Friday, so it is a long weekend! At least in the urban world in India the long weekend has taken off.

Google India has been very serious about their language effort in India. Their tools are gaining popularity but I believe the usage will increase with the increase of internet usage in Tier-II cities.
