Sharing Feature: Why can’t Google Docs & GWT learn from Google Adsense?

The sharing feature in Google Analytics (User Manager) is a great feature to share the traffic details with other users. It is not clear why Google Docs and Google Webmaster Tools (GWT) is not having this feature.

In Google Docs  it is not possible to get a birds eye view of which documents a particular user has access to. Instead you need to go into the sharing module and check with whom the document is being shared with. Same is the case with GWT.

Some features which these products should have,

  1. In Google Docs you can group documents into folders. GWT should have the same feature.
  2. Replicate “User Manager” from Google Analytics to GWT and Google Docs

This should be reasonably simple for Google to implement.
