Long weekend in Bangalore: Good for our roads, bad for language traffic

Long weekends are always good & bad news for me. Bangalore roads are wonderful to drive during long weekends. It is safe to assume a huge percentage of population goes out of Bangalore during holidays – mainly to Tamil Nadu, Andhra (united Andhra!), Kerala.

The language channels of Oneindia.in get good amount of traffic from Bangalore (and other metros). During long weekends our traffic to language sites take a beating. This clearly shows how important Indian languages are in the internet space. We at Oneindia.in have been thrilled with the growth of our unique user base, the comScore press release couldn’t have come at a better time.

Indian languages are bound to take new heights in 2010.

Wishing you all happy holidays. Have a safe one.
