Social Networking goes to Dogs..

Check out UnitedDogs.com, a social networking site for dogs and their owners! The site says,

Here at Uniteddogs.com you can create a detailed page for your dog – add his/her breed, date of birth, lifestyle, favourite food etc.
All the members can pat the dogs and post comments. The homepage for the dogs will look like this www.uniteddogs.com/dog/dogs_name

I guess it is a good platform for serious dog lovers. Vendors of pet based products would love to advertise on such platforms. But in this busy world while one has little time to write one’s own blog, do you have the time to write for your dog?

UnitedDogs’s official blog is at http://uniteddogsandcats.com/

It is a matter of time before someone starts such a site in India. But will VCs in India “bite” this dog..I mean the carrot? I doubt it…
