Android phones are surely getting popular in India. You get to see many advertisements in newspapers for Android mobile phones (Acer, Dell, HTC seem to be leading).

It would be interesting to see which apps get popular amongst Android users in India. Usually it is not very different from their US counterpart (at least in the gaming and entertainment category).
