Column: Maintain your PC, backup your valuable data regularly

My eight column in “Vijaya Next” (Kannada) was about maintaining your PC & backing up your data. Main points were,

  • You lose your data because of hard drive crash, accident deletion, virus attack
  • Pirated software too can hurt your PC
  • Speed up your PC by using tools like Glary Utilities & Soluto
  • Backup your data using external drives. They are not very expensive these days
  • Use online backup sites like Mozy, Backblaze, Carbonite, Sugarsync. They cost just $50-60 per year to backup your data
