Most visitors to India from US are always amazed the SMS usage in India. I was always under the impression US doesn’t use SMS to a great extent. Wrong! Today’s comscore report shows SMS is the leading utility on a US mobile,

The comscore report also talks about the market share of handsets and smartphones in the US. Nokia is the leading brand in India but not in the US. But Nokia must be happy with the share they have in India as the market size is very huge. Nokia sells about 60 million handsets a year in India.
