According to the latest report from eMarketer Mobile Ad spend in the US has gone up by 80% in 2010.
- In 2010 the mobile ad spend will reach $743m
- Projection for 2011 is $1.1b, 2014 is $2.5b
- Video, display and search ad spending on mobile will all more than double in 2010
- SMS is still the largest format, with spending of $327 million in 2010
- eMarketer forecast that US mobile ad spending would reach just $593
