For starters let me try to explain and local and hyperlocal in very basic terms,

  • Local portal is centered around a city (the portal can have info about multiple cities).
  • Hyper local can be seen as information related to a particular locality in a city.

Offline or Online, it is Local stupid!

Mumbai has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. This all started with the Railway exams being held in Mumbai and his party MNS cadres attacking Biharis. I am sure TV channels were thrilled as they had one more issue to cover over and over again.
